Currently serving as a trusted culinary advisor to Vermillon Hotel in Iloilo City, he brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to every project he undertakes. His culinary journey began in some of the Philippines’ most esteemed kitchens, where he quickly rose through the ranks, eventually taking on the prestigious role of Executive Chef at JPark Waterpark Resort. During his tenure, he led diverse culinary teams and introduced innovative dishes that elevated the dining experience for both local and international guests.

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a love for Italian flavors, he founded Moreno’s Italian Restaurant, a beloved destination for food lovers seeking authentic, hearty and soulful Italian meals. Building on the restaurant’s success and reputation, he is now expanding the business to include a coffee bar and youth hostel, creating a vibrant community space where people can gather, relax and enjoy good food and conversation. Beyond running his own restaurant, our founder is deeply committed to nurturing future generations of culinary professionals. As a mentor at Kessler’s Kitchen, he devotes his time to teaching aspiring chefs the intricacies of pizza making, pasta crafting and wine pairing  skills that reflect the essence of true Italian hospitality and culinary mastery. These experiences deeply influence the flavors, authenticity and techniques that define our brand today. Dynamic culinary consultant with extensive experience in Italian cuisine, currently advising Vermillon Hotel in Iloilo City. Formerly the Executive Chef at JPark Waterpark Resort, I am also the owner of Moreno’s Italian Restaurant, expanding into a coffee bar and youth hostel. A dedicated mentor at Kessler’s Kitchen, I guide aspiring chefs in pizza, pasta, and wine pairing. My background includes leadership roles in various renowned restaurants across the
Philippines and international experience in Italy and Korea. Recognized forexcellence, I have received accolades such as Best Italian Restaurant in Mactan.

 

With years of experience in the culinary industry, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse kitchens, learning from incredible chefs and exploring the many layers of Italian cooking  from the bustling pizzerias of Naples to the rustic kitchens of Tuscany.
