Lifted and vibrant on the nose, with plum and
cherry notes alongside wild thyme and
tobacco. The rounded palate is soft and plush
with ample black-hued preserved fruits, and
sweet and savory spices finishing with fine
and ripe tannins.
The grapes for this wine are semi-dried on
trays, in well-ventilated rooms, for about 120
days. Fermentation is long and
slow, lasting from four to six weeks. The wine
then matures in 30-hectoliter (792 gallons)
Slavonian oak barrels for two years.
